Widely Used Turbo TeeJet® Spray Tip Product Line Expanded

(Wheaton, IL, USA) A new capacity has been added to the Turbo TeeJet wide angle flat spray tip product line. The new ‘025 (.25 gpm at 40 psi per tip) capacity is ideal for fungicide spraying when used with the QJ90 dual outlet adapter to produce two angled spray patterns for better canopy penetration and leaf coverage. In accordance with ISO color-coding standards to facilitate quick capacity identification, the new Turbo TeeJet tip is violet.

In addition to being widely used for fungicide application, the Turbo TeeJet (TT) is a good choice for insecticide application and spraying of pre- or post-emergence contact or systemic herbicides. The nozzle’s tapered edge, wide-angle flat spray pattern offers excellent spray distribution quality in broadcast spraying.

Turbo TeeJet nozzles also feature a large, rounded internal passage to minimize clogging and produce larger droplets for improved drift control. Constructed of an economical, durable polymer, the TT provides excellent corrosion and wear resistance. TT nozzles can be used with a wide variety of standard flat spray caps and feature automatic spray alignment when used with Quick TeeJet® caps.

New Turbo TwinJet® Spray Tip Provides Superior Coverage

Wheaton, IL, USA – A new spray tip, designed for applications where good leaf coverage and canopy penetration are required, is the newest addition to the TeeJet Spray Products’ line. The new tip, Turbo TwinJet (TTJ), is ideal for fungicides, insecticides and pre- or post-emergence contact herbicides.

The TTJ features a dual outlet orifice design. Identical front and back flat spray patterns are produced with a 60˚ included spray angle between them to optimize spray coverage. The TTJ is based on the patented design of the widely used Turbo TeeJet® spray tip. Due to an internal pre-orifice, the Turbo TwinJet will work well when coverage, penetration and drift control are all important factors.

In addition, the TTJ is available in a wide range of capacities and features large round free passages to minimize clogging. Constructed of an economical but durable polymer, the TTJ provides excellent corrosion and wear resistance. Other TTJ benefits include easy self-alignment in Quick TeeJet® caps and color-coding to facilitate quick capacity identification.

New Air Induction Spray Tip from TeeJet Provides Excellent Drift Resistance

Wheaton, IL, USA – The new Turbo TeeJet Induction (TTI) spray tip design is ideal for use when off-target drift is a concern and excellent overlap distribution is required. Using a unique pre-orifice design, the smaller droplets in the spectrum are eliminated and large, air-filled, drift-resistant droplets are produced.

Based on the patented design of the original Turbo TeeJet spray nozzle, the TTI offers many of the same benefits: a wide angle flat spray pattern, excellent spray pattern distribution and an economical polymer construction.

Other TTI features include easy pre-orifice removal for cleaning/inspection, a choice of six capacities ranging from 0.15 to 0.5 gpm (0.56 to 1.9 l/min) at 40 psi (2.75 bar), color-coding in compliance with the ISO standard for easy capacity identification and easy installation/alignment via Quick TeeJet® Caps.

“If a grower is spraying near sensitive areas such as residential areas, open water or near susceptible plants, the TTI is the best nozzle to help control drift without compromising spray pattern distribution. That’s because this tip produces very few small, drift-prone droplets,” said Marty Heyen, Marketing and Customer Relations Manager. “The TTI is ideal for use with pre-emergence herbicides, post-emergence systemic herbicides and systemic fungicides because of its unique performance,” Heyen continued.
